Surviving Harry Potter (Barely!)

We started the evening around 5:00pm with a line all the way around the building!

Paul brought the kids out for the fun and games. Holly stayed until the bitter end (in this case 3am), Cassie just wanted to join in the costume parade.

This is what made the exhausting night so fun. Look at the faces of these kids!

For some reason, the "big kids" wanted to take the empty boxes as souvenirs!?!

Holly's Trip to DC

Holly just got back from the National Youth Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. She raised a lot of the money herself by getting sponsors. She had a great time and met lots of new people. The conference took her to Philadelphia, Harper's Ferry, DC, and Baltimore. Her favorite parts were touring Washington and the flight (her first ride in an airplane)!

A Busy Boddeker Day!

While big sister Holly is in Washington, D.C. at camp we found loads to do! We climbed up the house, played on the slides, took our puppies along for the ride, went inside to play a little Wii, and made very important phone calls!

Outside Fun!

This is the day Cassie took off her training wheels and rode her bike by herself! I asked her if she wanted to take the training wheels off, she said sure, but that she would like to put on overalls so that I can hold her on her bike while running alongside! After a few trial runs she just took off!! Holly and Christian celebrated the day by doing some pogo tricks!

Wild Kingdom

We find lots of animals around our house and Paul at times feel compelled to bring them in the house. Our dog, Duke, bunny, BunBun, and horse, Trooper are permanent residents. The snakes, turtles, birds and frogs just visit. I think Hannah's expression says it all.

Things I Can Put in my Mouth

What is EVERYTHING? One of my major jobs is to do an hourly sweep of the house to locate abandoned Polly Pocket shoes, Barbie hairbrushes, Magnetix pieces, Legos and anything else that Hannah might find WAY under the couch and decide to put in her mouth. Of course, the pacifiers and teething rings hold no interest and never did.

More Summer Fun!

Hannah welcomes the dog days of summer with a little ice cream eating! She also shares some juice in the kitchen with her friend, Cayden. And look at the pool! Paul has done so much work in such awful heat.
